Shoaib Malik is a Pakistani cricketer who is well-known around the world. From 2007 to 2009, he led the Pakistan national cricket team as captain. He made his One-Day International debut against the West Indies in 1999 and his Test debut against Bangladesh in 2001.
Shoaib Malik announced his retirement from Test cricket on November 3, 2015, in order to concentrate on the 2019 Cricket World Cup. He became the first male cricketer to play 100 T20s on July 2, 2018. After Pakistan secured their final group stage game against Bangladesh at Lord’s in the 2019 Cricket World Cup, he declared his retirement from One Day International cricket on July 5, 2019.
Shoaib married popular tennis player Sania Mirza in April 2010 and the couple is blessed with a beautiful son.
