Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari’s eldest daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari got engaged.
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s engagement ceremony was held at Bilawal House Karachi and strict precautionary measures were taken against corona virus. Due to the corona virus epidemic, the engagement ceremony was cut short and a limited number of guests attended.
Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz, Farooq H Naik along with his family and Asif Ali Zardari’s friend Anwar Majeed also attended the function.

Bakhtawar’s father Asif Ali Zardari, who is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital on bail in NAB cases, attended his daughter’s engagement for two hours with the permission of a doctor.
In addition, Bakhtawar’s brother and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari tested positive for corona a day earlier and is currently in isolation and attended the engagement via video link.
Bakhtawar and Asifa Bhutto Zardari’s friends also attended the engagement ceremony of Benazir Bhutto’s daughter.
A few hours before the ceremony, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari in an emotional tweet thanked all those who wished him well at the beginning of his new life.
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari called the engagement day an emotional day of his life and sent a message to PPP workers and leaders that they would rejoice together after the end of the Corona epidemic.
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari wrote that he knew that PPP leaders and families wanted to attend his engagement ceremony.
The engagement ceremony of Bakhtawar Bhutto has been attended by close relatives while about 50 to 60 people have attended the ceremony which lasted for two and a half hours.
At the engagement ceremony, guests were treated to Pakistani and English dishes, including kufta, biryani, chicken broth and fish, but special children’s dishes were also prepared.
