Sana toured Bangladesh, the West Indies, South Africa, and Zimbabwe in addition to performing at home, putting on exceptional all-around performances in each of these nations. In fact, she took 18 of her 24 wickets for the year in the 11 matches she played against the West Indies. Sana displayed great fearlessness in the face of the West Indies’ aggressive batsmen, and she was able to keep them at bay.

Sana has shown good power and range as a lower-order batter. She has scored 28*, 22*, and 17* against challenging opponents such as the West Indies, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, respectively while playing at No. 8.

Performance to Remember

Sana’s most noteworthy performance occurred in the Caribbean in July, when she got her first five-for in one-day internationals while also scoring 28* to help Pakistan win by 22 runs (D/L Method).

Pakistan had already lost the series going into this ODI, but the victory boosted the team’s confidence, especially Sana’s. In the slog overs, Sana contributed key runs with the bat. She took the vital wickets of Deandra Dottin and Britney Cooper with the new ball, then returned at the end to clean up the tail, finishing with bowling statistics of 5/39.
