Nach na Jane Theater paly is produced by Anwar Maqsood he explained that Naach Na Jaane is the tale of classical dancer Akbar . The play is set in 1978 under Gen Zia’s rule in which a ban was imposed on dance academies. It tells the story of how Akbar had to find a job as a cook to make ends meet.
“Just like the drama, the play is also reflective of society,” said Maqsood. “The name of the play, Naach na Jaane, reflects the idea that a person who doesn’t know how to rule has been blessed to rule the country.” However, that person keeps on blaming the past government for his blunders.
Nach Na Jane will mark actor Yasir Hussain’s return to theatre after a gap of seven long years during which he has made many films. This is not the first time he will work with Maqsood, though: in Aangan Tehra, Hussain played the role of Nasir’s character.( by Sama tv )
