Last month, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media account and shared the trailer of Emraan Hashmi’s Netflix series Bard of Blood.
The trailer caught the attention of DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor and he advised the actors to rather promote peace and speak against the “atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir.

He re-tweeted Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet and tagged him along and wrote:
Stay in Bollywood syndrome @iamsrk. For reality see RAW Spy Kulbhushan Jadev, Wing Comd Abhinandan & state of 27 Feb 2019. You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS.

Recently, the actor Emraan Hashmi was asked about his opinions on our DG ISPR to which he replied that it only led to other people spewing hate.

During the interview, Emran Hashmi said:
This way, you don’t end up making any film because whenever you have content that has even remotely anything associated with anything political related to these two countries (India and Pakistan), emotions do run high. And you have to bear the brunt in this. And social media is full of this. I think that one tweet (Asif Ghafoor’s) led to other people spewing hate.
Well, we think that Major General Asif Ghafoor only asked them to promote peace and humanity. He really needs to read his tweet again!
