Israeli actress Gal Gadot, known for her stint in Wonder Woman, has been officially roped by Paramount Pictures to play the role of Egyptian ruler and one of the world’s most beautiful women to ever live Cleopatra in an upcoming film. The film, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins from a script by Laeta Kalogridis, was the idea of Gal Gadot and is being billed as an epic biographical drama.
Gal Godot was crowned as Miss Israel 2004 at the age of 18. Later, she served two years in Israel Armed Forces as a fitness/combat readiness instructor, after which she began studying law and international relations, which she left again to pursue her career in acting and modeling.
