The majority of Lux Style Awards winners are usually announced independently by the jury, but this year due to the Corona epidemic, the winners were announced through online voting.
This year, the award for best film was given to Lal Kabutar, while the award for best actress was given to actress Mahira Khan and the award for best actor was given to Ahmed Ali Akbar.
The online awards ceremony also featured a virtual red carpet, featuring actress Mansha Pasha, Mehwish Hayat and other celebrities.
The online event was hosted by actresses Mehwish Hayat and Ahmed Ali Butt, while the winners were presented with awards at their homes, which were displayed at the virtual event.
The highlight of this year’s Lux Style Awards was that while the entire event was shown online, performances including of Hadiqa Kayani, was also performed online.
This year’s Lux Style Awards for Best Female Model went to model Zara Noor Abbas, who died in a plane crash in May this year. Zara Noor Abbas’s award was received by her mother.
10-year-old singer Hadia Hashmi was given best Singer of the year 2020 award.
Mery Pass Tum Ho child star 10 years old Sheesh Sajad Gul was given best emerging actor award.
