Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s eldest daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, 31, tied the knot today (January 29) at Bilawal House Karachi with Pakistani-born Dubai-based industrialist Mahmood Chaudhry.
The marriage ceremony was attended by Bhutto and Zardari family and relatives of Mahmood Chaudhry. Strict security arrangements were made at Bilawal House on the occasion.
Their wedding celebrations started four days ago on January 25 on the occasion of their 31st birthday and the celebrations started with Mehfil Milad.
Bakhtawar Bhutto’s main Hina ceremony was held on January 27, while Sindhi and Balochi rituals were also held on January 28.
Local artists were invited to Bakhtawar Bhutto’s wedding, while the main wedding ceremony will be held tomorrow (January 30) at Bilawal House, to which 300 guests have been invited.
Raza Dharijo, a PPP member and a member of the social media team, confirmed the marriage of Bakhtawar Bhutto.
He said that Bakhtawar Bhutto’s marriage was attended by his friends, Bhutto family members and PPP leaders.
According to the PPP member, Bakhtawar Bhutto’s marriage was solemnized by Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Sahu.

On the other hand, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s husband Mahmood Chaudhry also shared a story on his Instagram account.
However, photos of Bakhtawar Bhutto’s marriage have not yet been released by the PPP and the Zardari family.
It may be recalled that the day before yesterday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto’s brother had explained that the wedding ceremonies would be held in other cities besides Karachi.
Bilawal Bhutto had said that Bakhtawar Bhutto’s wedding ceremonies would also be held in Larkana, Lahore and Islamabad, to which PPP members and other important personalities have been invited.
It may be recalled that on November 27 last year, Bakhtawar Bhutto got engaged to Pakistani-origin Dubai-based industrialist Mahmood Chaudhry, 33, at Bilawal House and at the time of her engagement, it was reported that their marriage would take place on January 30, 2021.
It is believed that Bakhtawar Bhutto and Mahmood Chaudhry will stay in Pakistan for a week after the wedding, after which they will leave for Dubai, where they will arrange a wedding ceremony for foreign friends.
