A video of Nida Yasir getting a Hijab Tutorial from Waqar in front of so many people has just gone viral on Facebook. She’s also wearing a Hijab made by Waqar, a male make-up artist known for his excellent work.
She demonstrated how to achieve a smaller face while wearing a hijab in the video. When asked about her Hijab, she said she had never worn one.

Immediately after the video was released, netizens called for a ban on such content from PEMRA, claiming that such content is a parody of the Hijab. A Na Mehram Hijab does not make Nida a modern woman, as they claimed.
While wearing the Hijab, they advised her to seek Allah’s direction rather than a makeup artist’s advice. According to them, wearing a Hijab is all about covering one’s head, and those who are concerned about how they appear aren’t Hijabs. Public comments can be found below.
